4-Wire Low-Resistance Testing with AEMC 2118.85 Kelvin Probes

AEMC 2118.85 is a set of spring-loaded pistol-grip 25A Kelvin probes for compatible micro-ohmmeters. The probes support 4-wire low-resistance measurement by maintaining current and voltage connections at the measurement point.

Spring-Loaded Kelvin Contact Method

- Spring-loaded probe tips maintain contact at the measurement point.
- Pistol-grip handling supports controlled placement during measurement.
- 4-wire operation separates current and voltage paths for low-resistance testing.
- Lead resistance compensation is not necessary when used in 4-wire mode.

Electrical Rating and Connection Scope

- 25A rated Kelvin probe set.
- 20 ft lead length supports extended connection reach.
- 300V CAT III maximum voltage rating.
- Spaded lugs fit diameters from 0.157 in to 0.236 in.
- Compatible with AEMC Micro-ohmmeters 6240 and 6255 or equivalent.

Micro-Ohmmeter Test Lead Applications

- Low-resistance measurement with compatible micro-ohmmeters.
- 4-wire Kelvin testing where lead resistance must be excluded.
