Ground Resistance Testing for Electrical Grounding Systems with AEMC 2135.58

The AEMC 2135.58 Model 6424 is a digital ground resistance tester for electrical grounding measurements. It performs 3-pole ground resistance, 2-pole resistance, AC/DC voltage, and AC current measurement with the MN72 current probe.

3-Pole and 2-Pole Resistance Measurement Method

- 3P mode measures ground resistance through H, S, and E terminal connections for direct earth resistance readings.
- 2P mode measures resistance across a simplified two-terminal connection for ground continuity-style checks.
- Automatic range selection seeks the optimum measurement range before presenting the reading.
- One-shot and continuous measurement modes support single readings or repeated measurement activity.

Electrical Measurement Functions and Ranges

- Voltage measurement range: 0.1 to 600 VAC/DC with 0.1 V resolution.
- AC current measurement range: 0.5 to 60.00 AAC with MN72 current probe.
- Ground resistance measurement range: 0.05 Ω to 50.00 kΩ in 2P mode.
- Ground resistance measurement range: 0.50 Ω to 50.000 kΩ in 3P mode.
- Measurement frequency: 128 Hz or 256 Hz, automatically selected.
