AEMC 2153.08 AC/DC Current Probe delivers non-intrusive current measurement from milliamps to 80 A DC with dual-range sensitivity, Hall-effect sensing technology, and compatibility with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and voltage-measuring instruments.
The AEMC 2153.08 is an AC/DC current probe designed for non-intrusive current measurement in electrical systems. Using Hall-effect sensing technology, it measures both alternating and direct current without opening the circuit. Its compact jaw design supports testing in crowded panels, industrial equipment, and automotive electrical systems.
• Clamps around a conductor to measure magnetic fields generated by current flow• Hall-effect sensing enables measurement of both AC and DC current signals• Converts measured current into a proportional voltage output for connected instruments• Narrow jaw profile allows access to conductors in confined wiring spaces• Push-button zero adjustment supports accurate low-current DC measurements
• Dual ranges support measurements from 5 mA to 2 ADC and from 50 mA to 80 ADC• AC measurement capability extends to 1.5 AAC and 60 AAC nominal ranges• Provides 1 mV/mA output in the low-current range and 10 mV/A output in the high-current range• Bandwidth extends to 20 kHz depending on measured current level• Rated for installations up to 600 V CAT III and 300 V CAT IV
• Electrical troubleshooting and current verification• Industrial equipment maintenance and commissioning• Automotive electrical testing and diagnostics
