The Allen-Bradley 442G-MABE1 Escape Release Module is designed for use with the Guardmaster 442G Multifunctional Access Box. It provides a manual escape mechanism that allows personnel to exit a safeguarded area from the inside without the use of tools.

Escape Release Functionality

  • Allows opening of a locked safety guard from inside a hazardous area
  • Designed as an accessory for the Guardmaster 442G Multifunctional Access Box
  • Actuation can trigger a latching fault when release monitoring is active

Mechanical Design

The module features a zinc die-cast handle assembly and a standard actuation shaft. The shaft can be shortened to accommodate different door profile depths.
