Rigaku KT-100S Handheld LIBS Metal Alloy Composition and Grade Identification Analyzer

Rigaku KT-100S is a handheld laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) analyzer engineered for elemental composition measurement and alloy grade identification of solid metallic materials. A focused laser pulse ablates a small portion of the metal surface to generate plasma, and the emitted light spectrum is analyzed to determine alloy chemistry within selectable matrices. The compact handheld platform integrates laser generation, plasma detection, data processing, and display in a single instrument.

Handheld Mechanical Design and Integrated Controls

A sealed safety window protects internal optical components during contact measurement on metal parts. Power is supplied by a rechargeable Li-ion battery system, and a docking station supports charging and storage. USB and power ports enable data transfer and external power connection.
