Product Description

Power Quality and Energy Analysis with the Fluke 435-II

The Fluke 435-II is a Series II three-phase power quality and energy analyzer built to solve power distribution problems that are difficult to isolate with standard electrical measurements. It combines Class A power quality testing, event capture, trend recording, and energy loss analysis to help pinpoint disturbance patterns, wasted energy, and system behavior across single-phase and three-phase distribution systems.

Simultaneous Electrical Capture for Fault Isolation

  • Measures four voltage and four current channels to evaluate phase and neutral behavior together.
  • Records displayed measurements automatically to expose minimum, maximum, and average trend patterns.
  • Captures dips, swells, interruptions, inrush behavior, and waveform events for event-based troubleshooting.
  • Displays voltage and current waveforms to reveal signal shape, timing, and phase behavior.

Class A Measurement and Advanced PQ Analysis

  • IEC 61000-4-30 Class A compliance supports standardized power quality measurement.
  • PowerWave captures fast RMS data, half-cycle values, and waveforms for dynamic electrical events.
  • Transient mode captures 200 kHz waveform data on all phases simultaneously up to 6 kV.
  • Flicker and mains signaling modes identify voltage fluctuation and ripple-control interference behavior.
  • Energy loss calculation quantifies losses from reactive power, harmonics, unbalance, and neutral current.

Electrical Distribution Troubleshooting Applications

  • Locate, predict, prevent, and troubleshoot power quality problems in single-phase and three-phase systems.
  • Analyze harmonics, unbalance, transients, flicker, and energy loss in facility and industrial power systems.
  • Monitor power quality parameters according to EN50160 power quality standard behavior.
