DC Cell Resistance Testing for Battery Systems

The Alber CRT-400 Cell Resistance Tester is a handheld battery test instrument for cell voltage and resistance measurement. It measures and records cell float voltage, internal cell resistance, and intercell connection resistance for single cells and multicell modules. Field battery maintenance workflows are supported through USB data storage, infrared communication, and Battery Analysis Software reporting.

DC Resistance Measurement with Momentary Load Testing

  • Applies a momentary DC load to calculate internal cell resistance.
  • Measures float voltage, internal resistance, and intercell resistance.
  • Rejects 50 Hz / 60 Hz ripple and associated harmonics.
  • Auto-selects voltage range, load resistor, and test time.

Battery Measurement Functions and Operating Ranges

  • Measures cells or modules up to 20 V.
