OptiTap Simplex Plug AdapterFMAE Series adapters are used for patch cord inspection. They attach to the Patch Cord Microscope on theSmartClass Fiber Series, as well as the Fva Benchtop Microscope. They can also be connected to any VIAVI probe microscope by using the BFP-UFMAE, together with an FBP-BAP1 adapter. FMAE Series adapters are all female threaded.
Sumitomo T-55 Fusion Splicer: Fast 7-sec weld, 9000 splice count, and rugged design. Perfect for high-performance fiber splicing with precision and reliability. Made in Japan.
An OTDR launch cable, which connects the OTDR to the link-under-test, discloses the insertion loss and reflectance of the near-end connection. It is often available on a small spool or within a “launch box”, which is used to create the proper conditions for testing another similar optical fiber for faults. This method avoids undesirable variations in loss and distance measurements. A launch fiber will help to overcome the blind spot or Dead Zone of an OTDR brought about by high launch power or faults near the launch end of the fiber.
Cast patch cord RJ45-RJ45 CAT category 6. It is made of a red U/UTP cable in a LSZH shell. Designed for switching network equipment.
INNO Instrument V30 Optical Multi Meter combines optical power measurement, visual fault location, and cable continuity testing in a handheld fiber optic test instrument designed for telecommunications installation and maintenance environments.
The EXFO Max-720B MaxTester is a compact, user-friendly OTDR designed for efficient fiber optic testing. Featuring a 7-inch touchscreen and 12-hour battery, it offers advanced 36 dB performance for quick and accurate network analysis. Model MAX-720B-M1-EA.
Viavi E136FB-APC SmartOTDR: Advanced handheld tester for precise fiber optic diagnostics. Features 1310/1550nm & 1650nm filtered wavelengths for superior performance.
Fluke Networks MMC-62-SCSC Launch Cable is a multimode SC/SC fiber optic cable, is used for high-speed networks installation, inspection and troubleshooting. An OTDR requires launch cables or fiber rings to measure the end-to-end loss of fiber optic links. The multimode fiber has a 62.5/125µm core/cladding diameter.Length is 105 meters.
The DSX-CHA003 coaxial adapters are used in conjunction with the DSX CableAnalyzer to certify coaxial cabling for network and video applications. It supports testing of 50 ohm, 75 ohm, and 93-ohm coaxial cable and its Length-Scaled test limits which automatically adjusts the Insertion Lost limit across the specified frequency range.
