Fluke Networks FI1000-ADAPT-60 adapter adds a 60° angled camera tip for improved inspection access. Ideal for technicians working with tight or hard-to-reach fiber ports.
The EXFO Soft Pulse Suppressor Bag eliminates OTDR dead zones, ensuring accurate fiber optic testing. Compact and reliable, it’s ideal for precise measurements during installation and troubleshooting.
Viavi Visual Fault Locator FFL-050: Compact, high-performance tool for fiber testing. 1mW output, 30+ hours battery, and 7km range. Ideal for field use.
An OTDR launch cable, which connects the OTDR to the link-under-test, discloses the insertion loss and reflectance of the near-end connection. It is often available on a small spool or within a “launch box”, which is used to create the proper conditions for testing another similar optical fiber for faults. This method avoids undesirable variations in loss and distance measurements. A launch fiber will help to overcome the blind spot or Dead Zone of an OTDR brought about by high launch power or faults near the launch end of the fiber.
The Micro-OTDR (µOTDR) modules of the MU909014x/15x series for the MT9090A Network Master platform manufactured by Anritsuactually provide all the functions and characteristics needed during construction and maintenance optical fibers, based on a compact, modular measuring device. MT9090A is an economical andeasy-to-use tool without the slightest loss of performance. Sampling samples of 2 cm, 0.8-m "dead" zoneand a dynamic range of up to 38 dB guarantee an accurate and comprehensive assessment of fiber parameters for networks of any type – intra-station connections, access networks, metro and basic networks ... including FTTx networks based on PON, characterized by the presence of branches 1 × 64.
T-BERD/MTS-6000A is a compact and lightweight test platform designed for all phases of the network lifecycle from installation to maintenance of fiber networks. Modular in design, the T-BERD/MTS-6000A offers an extensive portfolio of test functionality for multiple network layers.
OPM 5 is designed for measuring optical power in all network types and performing insertion loss measurements on multimode or single-mode fiber optic links. Automatic Wavelength Identification Significantly Increases EfficiencyThe standard Wave ID feature automatically detects and sets the receive wavelength(s), preventing setup and measurement errors (when used with OLS series light sources). It significantly increases efficiency and reduces technician errors—and saves testing time—by eliminating the need to test each wavelength individually.
