Key Features
41S Fiber Fusion Splicer is welding machine for optical fiber by centering with active V-shaped grooves. The highest quality connections are obtained through the use of a fiber centering system (PAS).
Certified pre-owned VIAVI OLP-82P SmartClass Fiber Pro Kit for telecom and data center testing. Combines inspection and optical power measurement across key wavelengths with the P5000i microscope and FFL-050 VFL. Rugged, portable, and function-tested.
The DTX-MFM2 fiber module are used with a DTX Series Cable Analyzer to test and certify fiber optic cabling installations.
Fluke Networks FT630 FiberInspector Pro: Efficient, reliable fiber inspection tool with 250X & 400X magnification. 2-hour battery life for on-the-go testing.
The Fujikura FID-30R Optical Fiber Identifier is designed for fast, non-intrusive identification of active optical fiber lines and features an integrated OPM. By clamping directly onto the fiber, it detects the presence or absence of traffic signals, tone signals, and ONU signals without interrupting service, making it ideal for fiber optic installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
The MaxTester 730C (MAX-730C) provides users with accuracy, it's inspired OTDR has an effective dynamic range and is optimized for ssingle-modeand multimode field testing. An advantage to the MaxTester 730C is that it accurately pin-points faulty connectors or fiber breaks on short spans due to impressive multimode performances. It has a 12-hour battery life which makes every technician’s job easier. This advanced software turns even the most complex trace analysis into a simple, one-touch task.
An OTDR launch cable, which connects the OTDR to the link-under-test, discloses the insertion loss and reflectance of the near-end connection. It is often available on a small spool or within a “launch box”, which is used to create the proper conditions for testing another similar optical fiber for faults. This method avoids undesirable variations in loss and distance measurements. A launch fiber will help to overcome the blind spot or Dead Zone of an OTDR brought about by high launch power or faults near the launch end of the fiber.
