The Fluke Networks TS54-A-09-TDR is designed for voice, data and video technicians who require an integrated test set capable of handling telecommunications cabling fault location, pair identification, voltage/current measurement and standard telecom line functions — all in one compact and rugged instrument.

Integrated TDR & Cable Fault Location

• Locates opens, shorts and mismatches in twisted pair, coaxial and parallel conductors using time-domain reflectometry (TDR) up to 3,000 ft (914 m) range.

• Indicates fault distance with ±2 m + 5% accuracy.

• Combines TDR functionality with standard telecom test functions to reduce tool count in the field.

Toner, Pair Identification & Line Diagnostics

• Includes a built-in toner with five separate tones for fast pair differentiation.

• Supports SmartTone® pair identification for accurate pair-mapping when shorting the correct pair triggers tone change.

• Measures voltage (4 - 140 V DC), current (0 - 100 mA) and reports presence of data on the line.
