Hydrajaws M2000 Material Bond Tester Kit brings precise 25kN pull-off testing to concrete, screeds, coatings, laminates, plastics, paints, and enamels in lab, workshop, and on-site workflows.
The Hydrajaws M2000 Material Bond Tester Kit is a material bond pull-off tester kit for determining nominal tensile bond strength. It applies controlled tensile force through bonded steel discs to evaluate materials such as concrete, screeds, repair mortars, coatings, laminates, plastics, paints, and enamels. The kit supports laboratory, workshop, and on-site pull-off testing workflows.
- MPN 190-001 / N103159: M2000 Material Bond Tester Kit with 0–25kN / 5620 lbf Analogue DS Gauge.- MPN 190-002 / CART-501: M2000 Material Bond Tester Kit with 0–25kN / 5620 lbf Digital DS Gauge.- The digital gauge configuration is compatible with the Hydrajaws Digital Reporting System for recording test results, managing test schedules, and generating reports online when used with the required subscription.
- A circular steel disc is bonded to the test surface using epoxy resin adhesive, creating a defined pull-off area.- Controlled tensile force is applied to the bonded disc until the bond or material fails in tension.- Failure load is read directly from the gauge and used with disc area to calculate nominal tensile strength.- The bond stool is leveled so the applied load remains perpendicular to the test surface.- The method supports evaluation of bond strength between layers or within the substrate.
- Pull-out load range: 0–25kN / 5620 lbf.- Stroke: up to 50mm / 1.97 in.- 50mm disc strength reference: up to 12.73MPa at 25kN.- 75mm disc strength reference: up to 5.65MPa at 25kN.- Kit disc set: 10 x 50mm and 10 x 75mm diameter steel bond discs, each 20mm thick.
- Determines nominal tensile strength for concrete, screeds, and repair mortars.- Supports pull-off testing for epoxy resin coatings, laminates, plastics, paints, and enamels.- Applies to bond strength assessment where direct tensile strength or bonding strength between layers must be evaluated.
